VILLAIN REVEALED ON THE SET OF ‘SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING’

Set photos spoil appearance and design of a rumored villain

With filming underway in Atlanta on Sony’s (latest) Spider-Man reboot, occasional set photos have made there way to the web, but few have been very spoilerific. That certainly changes with a new photo circulating Twitter that looks to be a photo of the classic Spider-Man villain Shocker. The villain has been long rumored to be featured as a secondary antagonist and will reportedly be played by actor Bokeem Woodbine (Fargo). See the image below.

The images certainly look legitimate as they nail the villain’s classic look and weapons. The Shocker will feature alongside other confirmed villains Vulture and the Tinkerer. Spider-Man: Homecoming by Sony Pictures hits theaters July 7, 2016 and stars Tom Holland, Michael Keaton, Marissa Tomei, Donald Glover, Laura Harrier, Bokeem Woodbine, and Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man. Directed Jon Watts (Cop Car) and produced by Kevin Fiege with Marvel Studios, this will be the first Spider-Man film to take place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
