KATE BECKINSALE IS ‘NOT YET FINISHED WITH THE WAR’ IN ‘UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS’ TRAILER

Kate Beckinsale is back as Selene in the centuries old Lycan vs. Vampire war, Underworld: Blood Wars.

Screen Gems and Lakeshore Entertainment has added another installment to the 13 year-old franchise. The fifth installment, Underworld: Blood Wars, aside from proving that returning lead Kate Beckinsale is an ageless vampire, will once again showcase Selene’s ass-kicking abilities and her penchant for skin-tight faux leather body suits.

The newly released trailer revolves around a new battle being waged between the Vampire clan and the Lycans with their new leader, Marius who is played by Tobias Menzies (Game of Thrones, Outlander). Beckinsale returns as Selene whose Vampire-Corvinus Strain Hybrid blood is sought out by the Lycans.

Selene (Kate Beckinsale) joins the eternal war and plans to put an end to it.

Underworld: Blood Wars arrives in theaters on January 6, 2017.

The next installment in the blockbuster franchise, UNDERWORLD: BLOOD WARS follows Vampire death dealer, Selene (Kate Beckinsale) as she fends off brutal attacks from both the Lycan clan and the Vampire faction that betrayed her. With her only allies, David (Theo James) and his father Thomas (Charles Dance), she must stop the eternal war between Lycans and Vampires, even if it means she has to make the ultimate sacrifice.
