JOE MANGANIELLO CONFIRMED AS DEATHSTROKE IN ‘THE BATMAN’

Last week Ben Affleck (Batfleck, if you will) nearly broke the internet after dropping test footage of DC Comics villain Deathstroke. Following that was a popular rumor that True Blood alum Joe Manganiello was in talks to play the character in Affleck’s tentatively titled ‘The Batman’. In an interview with WSJ published today, DC Entertainment chief creative officer Geoff Johns confirmed the actor will indeed fill the role. It’s yet to be revealed if he will cameo in DC’s Justice League, but for now he will serve as the primary antagonist for Batman’s first DCEU solo film.
