DEATHSTROKE SET TO BE MAIN VILLAIN IN AFFLECK’S ‘BATMAN’
New report from The Wrap seemingly confirms the villain for Batman’s next solo film.
After posting a video that set Twitter ablaze, The Wrap has word that baddie Deathstroke isn’t set to be featured in the currently filming Justice League like many assumed, but instead will be the primary antagonist of actor/director Ben Affleck’s Batman solo film. This would mark the first major inkling we’ve had in regards to a lead villain. Speculation about Deathstroke entering the DCEU first hit when Arrow creator Marc Guggenhiem stated the character (portrayed by Manu Bennet) would not be returning to the series due to being attached to another upcoming DC project. Looks like we now know what that project is.
Ben Affleck’s untitled Batman movie is currently in early pre-production and has no firm release date set. See the previously released test footage below.
