‘WOLVERINE 3’ GETS A NEW TITLE, POSTER RELEASED

Fox reveals the title and first poster from Hugh Jackman’s last hoorah. 

While details on the next solo film for everyone’s favorite mutant, Fox has finally revealed the title and teaser poster for James Mangold’s next entry to the X-Men franchise. “Wolverine 3” is now titled Logan, the real name of the film’s protagonist. This stands out as an interesting choice and suggests the film will be far more personal and intimate than the previous films. Adding to that feeling is the first official poster. It shows Logan’s battered, adamantium-clawed hand holding that of child’s. This also fuels speculation that the film may feature a version of X-23, Wolverine’s teenage, female clone from the comics. Logan will mark Hugh Jackman’s last appearance in the role, who will end his 16 year run with the franchise that began with X-Men back in 2000. Logan hist theaters March 3, 2017 and stars Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Steven Merchant, and Richard E. Grant. See the official poster below.
