THE CW WELCOMES A ‘NEW HERO’ IN FIRST SUPERGIRL SEASON 2 TRAILER

“You look like the attractive cast of a CW show.” Well, they are now!

As we wait for October 10 to arrive, The CW (after the reveal of a cool, new poster) has just released the first ever season 2 trailer of Supergirl.

As much as we’ve anticipated for this to come, we were a bit disappointed. This Supergirl season 2 trailer does not show any of season 2, like, at all. While we were kind of hoping for a peek at Tyler Hoechlin‘s Superman or a glimpse of Chris Wood getting out of that extraterrestrial pod as Mon–El, we get an overview of what has happened last season.

But nobody’s complaining because the clip leaves us reminiscing about the past episodes. The 43-second clip boasts about the CW’s new addition to its list of DC superheroes with a montage of Supergirl’s highlights during season 1.

We see the last scene when Mon-El’s spaceship crashes the earth’s atmosphere, we look back to the electrifying Livewire, the evil Kryptonian Non, Indigo’s impending doom, a malicious Kara subjected under the red kryptonite and so much more.

We even get to hear Cat Grant, queen of quotable quotes, foreshadowing Supergirl’s move to its new yet more familiar home, The CW.

Supergirl season 2 trailer proves to be a welcome message for the new show as it now belongs to the same network with The Flash, Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow.
